Heavy, specialty, or regulated material
Some Jobs Need a Different Pricing Method
Weight, disposal requirements, disassembly, equipment, and the carrying route can matter more than item count or load volume for these projects.
| Project type | Common examples | What shapes the price | Pricing approach |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dense Material | Concrete · Brick · Soil · Rock · Tile · Plaster · Roofing material · Other unusually heavy debris | Pricing is based on the amount, estimated weight, access, handling, and disposal requirements. | Material and weight review |
| Oversized or Specialty Items | Hot tubs · Upright pianos · Safes · Large play structures · Oversized equipment · Items requiring substantial disassembly | Pricing is based on size, preparation, the carrying route, crew requirements, equipment, and disposal. | Project-specific quote |
| Regulated or Destination-Specific Material | Unknown liquids · Chemicals · Suspected hazardous material · Materials with specific disposal requirements | Identify the material before booking. Some requests require a separate disposal path or another qualified provider. | Material and disposal review |
| Custom Projects | Built-in items · Extensive dismantling · Mixed heavy materials · Complex access · Equipment-dependent work | We review the project details and prepare a custom quote based on the work required. | Custom quote |
The quote
What Builds Your Quote?
Four practical inputs combine into the price you can approve before loading.
One defined item may use an item range. Mixed loads use the usable space occupied.
Ordinary household contents differ from dense, regulated, or destination-specific material.
Stairs, long carries, elevators, parking, dismantling, sorting, and bagging affect the work.
When the accepted scope needs equipment beyond standard loading, it is identified in advance.
Standard service
The Work Included in an Ordinary Pickup
The onsite quote describes the accepted scope, including the ordinary labor and hauling needed for that request.
- Crew and loading
- Crew labor, lifting, loading, hauling, and reasonable property-protection practices.
- Travel and destination
- Normal service-area travel and ordinary disposal for accepted material.
- Immediate work area
- A basic sweep-up of the immediate area after the accepted items are loaded.
- Responsible handling
- Responsible sorting where practical, without guaranteeing a donation or recycling destination.
When the calculation changes
Extra Work Is Named, Not Hidden.
Some requests need a different calculation because the work is materially different from a standard carry-and-load pickup. Showing those conditions early makes the quote more useful.

Commercial and contractor pricing
Price the Property Work and Operating Pattern
Commercial quotes account for what is being removed and how the pickup must work at the property.
- Material: renovation debris, dense material, ordinary contents, or mixed project material
- Cadence: one-time removal, project-phase pickups, or a recurring request
- Site: staging, loading access, property rules, labor, and equipment
- Follow-up: invoicing and completion documentation where available and agreed upon
Account-specific pricing is considered only after repeat volume and the normal service pattern are established.

Pricing FAQ
Straight Answers Before the Quote
Questions about item ranges, load bands, labor, photos, dense debris, scope changes, and commercial work.
How is one-item pricing calculated?
A clearly defined item may use an approximate range under standard conditions. Size, weight, access, dismantling, and disposal requirements are reviewed before the onsite price is confirmed.
What does a full load mean?
A full load means the usable cubic-yard capacity available for the mixed material being collected. We normalize capacity by cubic yards rather than relying on a vehicle name alone.
Are labor and disposal included?
The approved quote includes the standard labor, hauling, and ordinary disposal described for that scope. Extra labor, equipment, or special disposal is identified before loading.
Can photos give me an exact quote?
Photos help us review likely volume, item types, access, and special handling. Your exact onsite price is confirmed before loading.
Do stairs affect the price?
They can. Stairs, long carries, elevators, parking restrictions, tight paths, and disassembly can change the labor required.
Why is dense debris priced differently?
Dense material can reach safe vehicle or trailer weight limits before it fills the available volume. Material type, weight, loading, and disposal must be reviewed together.
What happens if I add items?
Added items are shown and priced before they are loaded. Nothing outside the approved scope is automatically charged.
Can the onsite price change after approval?
The approved price covers the approved scope. If the scope changes, the change and any price adjustment are shown for approval before additional items are loaded.
Do you charge by weight or volume?
Mixed ordinary loads are usually evaluated by usable cubic-yard volume. Dense or specialty material may require a weight, material, disposal, equipment, or project calculation.
How is commercial work priced?
Commercial work can reflect material, volume, weight, access, project timing, labor, equipment, frequency, and requested documentation. Repeat account pricing is considered only after the normal volume and operating pattern are established.
