Show the full flight, width, handrails, landings, and any low ceiling areas.
The turns
Include narrow doors, tight corners, exterior entrances, and the path between rooms.
The loading distance
Show where the stairs end and how far the crew must carry items to the vehicle.
Keep the route clear where practical, but do not move heavy items or disturb unknown material just to prepare photos.

Usually no. Keep items where they are when safe access is available, and send photos of the items and the complete route upstairs so the work can be reviewed.
Can you remove items through an exterior basement entrance?
Include photos of the entrance, stairs, doors, turns, parking, and loading distance. The route must be reviewed before service.
What if items are affected by moisture?
Describe and photograph the condition before service. Wet, contaminated, leaking, mold-affected, or otherwise unusual material may require separate review or may not be accepted.
Can very heavy items be removed from a basement?
List the item, approximate size, location, stair route, and any known disassembly needs. Acceptance depends on the item and access conditions.
